1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Terms & Conditions apply to every booking and purchase made with Petit Gourmet Academy (“PGA”, “I”, “me”), a sole proprietorship owned by Mélody Engelbrecht, French State-registered dietitian (diététicienne diplômée d’État, RPPS no. 10007037483), registered with the KVK under number 97826987, VAT identification number NL005291839B37, business address Kreekwaard 39, 1824 DT Alkmaar, The Netherlands, email hello@melody-nutrition.com, phone +33 6 43 37 14 60.

They apply to private clients (consumers). Services for businesses (daycares, restaurants, food brands, agencies) are governed by a separate quote and agreement.
By booking or purchasing, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.

2. SERVICES AND PRODUCTS

  • Discovery call: a free, no-obligation 20-minute call.

  • Free webinars: online group sessions.

  • Workshops: paid group sessions of about 2 hours on a specific topic and date, held [online via Google Meet / in person at the location stated on the booking page].

  • 1:1 support programmes: personalised support as described on the programme page at the time of booking (for example sessions, messaging support, follow-up and resources).

  • Digital products: downloadable guides and resources (for example The Complete Guide to Starting Solids with Peace & Confidence).

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are shown on the website in euros and apply at the time of booking. PGA uses the Dutch small business scheme (kleineondernemersregeling, KOR), so no VAT is charged.
Payment is due in full at the time of booking, unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing. A booking is confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email has been sent.

4. YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (14 DAYS)

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The 14 days start on the day of your booking or purchase. To withdraw, email hello@melody-nutrition.com with a clear statement, or use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms. I will refund you within 14 days of receiving your request, using the same payment method.

  • Workshops: if you withdraw within 14 days of booking and before the workshop has taken place, you receive a full refund. After that, the cancellation policy in section 5 applies.

  • 1:1 programmes: if you ask me to start the programme within the 14-day period and then withdraw, you pay a proportionate amount for the part already delivered.

  • Digital products: at checkout, you can agree to receive the product immediately and confirm that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download is available. If you agree, no refund is possible after delivery.

5. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING

Workshops (after the 14-day withdrawal period):

  • Cancel at least 7 days before the workshop and you receive a full refund or a free transfer to another date.

  • Cancel less than 7 days before and no refund is given, but you may transfer your place to another family or, if places are available, to a later date.

  • No-shows are not refunded.

1:1 sessions:

  • Sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 48 hours’ notice.

  • A session cancelled with less notice, or missed, counts as delivered.

  • The programme must be used within 3 months of the start date. After this period, any remaining sessions expire and are not refunded, so I’ll make sure we plan them together in good time.

If I need to cancel: if I have to cancel or postpone a session, for example because of illness, you can choose between a new date and a full refund for the session.

6. HOW SESSIONS WORK

  • Online sessions take place via Google Meet. You are responsible for a working internet connection and device.

  • Sessions may not be recorded without my prior consent.

  • Messaging support (if included) is available on working days, during working hours and is not an emergency service.

7. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to give accurate and complete information about your own or your child’s health, growth and eating, and to tell me about any relevant medical condition, allergy or treatment. My guidance complements medical care but does not replace it. For any urgent or medical concern, contact your doctor, consultatiebureau or emergency services.

8. RESOURCES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All materials you receive (guides, checklists, recipes, slides, recordings) are for your personal, non-commercial use only. They may not be shared, copied, resold or published without my prior written permission. Workshop places and programmes are personal, except where section 5 allows a transfer.

9. LIABILITY

I provide my services with care and according to current scientific evidence. Results depend on many factors, including how the guidance is applied at home, so specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, my liability is limited to the amount paid for the service or product concerned. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.

10. COMPLAINTS

If you are not satisfied, please email hello@melody-nutrition.com with a description of the issue. I will respond within 14 days and do my best to find a solution together.

11. PRIVACY

Personal and health-related data shared during my services is handled confidentially and in line with the [Privacy Policy].

12. CHANGES AND APPLICABLE LAW

I may update these terms. The version that applies is the one in force at the time of your booking. These terms are governed by Dutch law. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country of residence.
