1:1 Consultation : Nutritional Support & Guidance for Your child
The first 1,000 days, from conception to your child’s second birthday, is a powerful window for development and lays the foundation for lifelong health. But this period can also be filled with questions, doubts, and a lot of (often conflicting) advice around feeding. Especially if you’re raising your child in a country with different food cultures and health recommendations than your own.
You want to give your baby the best possible start. You hope to nurture a calm, joyful relationship with food and body image, helping them build healthy habits that will last a lifetime. And above all, you want to feel confident in your choices, free from pressure, free from perfectionism.
You might be:
Getting ready to start solids (traditional, baby-led weaning, or a mix)
Facing feeding challenges, picky eating, food refusal, or mealtime stress
Concerned about limited food variety, strong texture aversions, or selective eating
Wondering whether your child’s feeding difficulties could go beyond “just picky eating”
Navigating reflux, constipation, allergies, oral-motor challenges, or growth concerns
Unsure how to introduce allergens or textures safely
Wanting to ensure your baby gets all the nutrients needed to grow and thrive
Hoping to support food curiosity, autonomy, and joy at the table
Some feeding challenges are part of normal development. Others may reflect a more complex picture, sometimes referred to as Pediatric Feeding Disorder (PFD) , meaning that something is making eating more difficult than it should be for your child.
In these situations, gentle, structured support makes a real difference.
How we’ll work together
We’ll review your child’s unique story, growth patterns, nutritional intake, feeding environment, and any underlying factors. From there, we’ll co-create a personalised, practical plan that fits your values, culture, and family rhythm, so you can move from stress and uncertainty to steadiness and trust.
Please bring your baby’s growth chart data to our first session, as this is essential for assessing nutritional status and growth trajectory.
There is no need to have your baby present for the initial consultation. This first session is focused on understanding your concerns and building a clear, structured plan.
If appropriate, we may schedule a follow-up session with your baby to work through specific feeding steps together.
And if your little one happens to be at home during the call, that’s absolutely fine, we’ll work around naps, feeds, and the occasional baby commentary.
