HI, I’m Mélody
I’m a bilingual French-certified Dietitian-Nutritionist, specialised in paediatrics and perinatal care, with over 10 years of experience helping families and children build a healthy, peaceful relationship with food and their own body image.
I’m also the mom of a little girl, my official recipe tester and the first to approve (or reject) all my culinary experiments!
A Holistic, Human-Centred Approach
Married to a South African and now living in the Netherlands after two years of travelling around the world, I’ve developed an open-minded, multicultural, and deeply human approach to nutrition. I believe that eating isn’t just about what’s on the plate, it’s about emotions, culture, connection, and how we relate to ourselves and to others. I’m passionate about the development of eating behaviours, gentle nutrition education, and holistic family care, because we’re not just bodies to feed, but complex beings who deserve kindness, support, and understanding.
Foundations for Lifelong Health Start Early
Foundations for Lifelong Health Start Early
Becoming a mom only deepened my belief in one key truth: the foundations of lifelong health are built early, and parents play an essential role. The first 1,000 days, from conception to your child’s second birthday, are a powerful window for long-term well-being.
But it’s also an intense time for parents: pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, exhaustion, doubts, and pressure… It’s easy to lose yourself in the process. Especially if you live in a different country, have little or no family support, are raising your child in a country with different food habits, or are faced with health recommendations that don’t match those from your home country.
That’s where I come in. I help you cut through the noise, navigate conflicting advice, and find what truly makes sense for you and your baby’s health, grounded in science, adapted to your culture, and realistic for your everyday life. My approach blends my healthcare expertise with my real-life experience as a mom, practitioner, and expat, so you can feel confident, informed, and supported every step of the way.
My Mission
To help you build a healthy, peaceful relationship with food and body image, for yourself and for your child.I’m here to support you with kindness, offer clear and practical guidance, and help you move forward with more confidence, in nourishing your child, your family, and yourself. Every family, every baby, and every story is unique. That’s why I offer tailored support, grounded in deep listening, evidence-based science, and real-life experience.
And when I’m not working...
You’ll likely find me sipping coffee with friends, cooking something experimental, moving through a Pilates session, or dreaming about the next family adventure. Travel, human connection, and caring for both body and mind are all things that inspire the way I live and the way I work.
My Journey & Qualifications
I believe a good practitioner is someone who stays curious and continually questions their own practice. That’s why I make it a priority to stay up to date with the latest evidence, so I can offer you the most relevant, science-based support with compassion and clarity.
Being bilingual, I draw on the strengths of both the French and English-speaking worlds to enrich my approach and better meet the needs of diverse families.
